Through its secure online data base, Sedex shares ethical supply chain data so that brands and retailers can see how their suppliers are meeting their social and ethical responsibilities. Sedex currently has more than 36,000 members in over 150 countries, making it a truly global organization. Sedex is not a standard setting body, code of conduct or certification.

AJA Bangldesh Auditor Group has worked together to develop the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA), a publically available audit procedure which is a compilation of good practice in ethical Audit technique.

SMETA guidelines provide the framework for audit structure and methodology, samples sizes and reporting documents.

AJA  Bangldesh provides  reference and training  to enable supplier members to manage their ethical trade performance as well as prepare for an audit.
